Q: Are Ad Agencies Slowly Losing Their Touches? And How Far Can The Term “User-Generated Content” Be Taken To?

A: Yes; and apparently, quite far—seeing that the iPod touch commercial that will air this Sunday is student-made, and Chiat/Day decided to adopt it for broadcast without many changes.

Hmm… There’s something to think about over the weekend. Good night.

  1. KW says:

Social media for business and brand building is not about creating a profile on MySpace & hoping people will take notice. It’s all about connecting clients to their consumers using Web 2.0 technology – social media, social networks, user-generated-content, blogs, wikis etc. Not only is it important to “engage” in conversations with the target audience, it’s crucial to participate in your target’s conversations.
